Sarah & Caleb — A Winter Wedding Full of Heart
Some weddings stay with you long after the day is over, and Sarah and Caleb’s was one of those unforgettable ones. From the moment I met them, it was clear their love was deep, steady, and full of intention. They spent a big part of their relationship long distance, living in different countries while doing missionary work. Planning a wedding while juggling time zone differences, missions, and Zoom meetings is no small task, but they handled it all with so much grace and joy.
Their wedding day fell right in the heart of winter and had the most magical, cozy energy. Everything about it felt warm and full of meaning. The reception was held at the beautiful Wildflower Estate in Mardela Springs, which was glowing with soft lights and holiday charm. The space was dressed with Christmas touches—twinkling lights, garlands of greenery, touches of red and gold, and candlelit tables that made the whole evening feel straight out of a Christmas movie.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was their first touch and prayer. Instead of a first look, they met on either side of a wall, held hands, and prayed together. It was such an honest, heartfelt moment and set the tone for the rest of the day. Later, when Caleb saw Sarah walking down the aisle for the first time, the look on his face said everything. It was raw and beautiful and completely unforgettable.
Their ceremony was filled with so much love, surrounded by friends and family who had been cheering them on through every stage of their journey. You could feel how ready everyone was to witness this moment. The joy and anticipation in the room were so real.
After the ceremony, we headed to Wildflower Estate where the celebration continued. The space was glowing, filled with laughter and the warm hum of conversation. During the reception, both sets of parents gave speeches that brought tears and smiles all around. There was so much love and pride in every word, and you could tell just how much their families had poured into their story.
And then came the party. The dance floor was packed all night. The DJ absolutely nailed the vibe, reading the room perfectly and keeping everyone out there dancing until the very end. There was so much energy, so much joy—it honestly felt like no one wanted the night to end.
To close out the evening, Sarah and Caleb had a sparkler exit that couldn’t have been more perfect. They walked hand in hand through a tunnel of light, surrounded by all their favorite people. It was magical, and the perfect send-off for a couple whose love had already moved through distance, challenge, and so much intentionality.
Sarah and Caleb, thank you for letting me be a part of your day. Your love is inspiring, and getting to capture your story was an absolute honor. This one will stay with me for a long time.
