What is the Baylight Series?

The Baylight Series is a small-group mentorship for photographers who want content, clarity & creative connection without the classroom energy. A space to grow, create, and feel at home in your work.

  • You won’t be learning alone—you’ll be alongside 3–4 other photographers who get it.
    Ask questions, bounce ideas, share wins (and struggles), and grow together.
    This isn’t just about content, it’s about connection, collaboration, and building something real with people who are in it with you.

    Honest feedback, creative direction, and content that supports your growth

  • On camera settings, posing, lighting, and workflow. We will also have post-shoot debriefs to reflect, ask questions, and set next steps.

  • 3–4 styled shoots planned with each photographers vision, creative direction and hands-on support

  • Branding chats to align your content with your business goals. Help discovering your editing style and visual identity.

  • A chance to quietly follow the flow of a real wedding day—watch how it all unfolds, take in the details, and reflect after. No pressure, just perspective.

Meet the Founder

I'm Maddie, a Maryland-based photographer who feels most at home when creating and growing in community. The Baylight Series has been in the works for a minute, sparked by conversations with friends who kept asking when I’d take the leap and start mentoring. As someone who thrives in a collaborative space, I knew I wanted to build something that felt more like a shared experience than a traditional mentorship.

Baylight is a place where ideas are exchanged freely, where creativity is nurtured, and where photographers can grow together rather than alone.

This is about building something meaningful, not just checking boxes.

  • Each round of the Baylight Series is a standalone experience, but there will be multiple opportunities to join. You’re welcome to come back for future sessions if you want continued growth and connection.

  • While this isn’t a one-on-one mentorship, there will definitely be space for personalized feedback, questions, and real talk. You’ll have access to me and the other photographers throughout the series in a way that feels casual but intentional.

  • Not at all. Baylight is intentionally open to photographers at different stages. Whether you’re just stepping into your photography journey or have a few seasons under your belt, you’ll find value in the shared perspective and support.

  • That’s totally normal, and you’re not alone. Baylight was created to feel welcoming, low-pressure, and real. You won’t be expected to perform or compete—just show up as yourself and be open to growing with others.
